As promised when live pricing was announced on the site, additional pricing tools are now available in an effort to help the community make better decisions when playing Madden Ultimate Team! In today's article, we will briefly highlight each one of these new tools and explain how they can help you during your MUT journey.
You can find the new "Prices" section at the top of any page or with the following link: https://www.mut.gg/prices/
Most Expensive Lineup and Training Price Indexes
The first tool you will notice on the "Prices" page will be a graph displaying the cost in Coins of the Most Expensive Lineup currently available in MUT. If you click "Training Price" on the right side of the graph, you will now see the lowest cost of Training Points at any given time. Both graphs have time interval options of 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, and all, along with the ability to switch platforms between Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Since the system officially started logging data on June 2nd, the longer time frames will need more time to fully populate.
The Most Expensive Lineup Index is meant to capture an overview of what the overall market is doing since the most expensive cards typically move with the market. Newly-released cards must be in the game for at least 24 hours before they can be included in the lineup. If you are familiar with the stock market, think of this index as Madden Ultimate Team's version of the S&P 500.
The Training Price graph displays the average cost of Training Points at any given time. This graph is useful in helping users find the best possible time to purchase Training for the least amount of Coins possible.
Cheapest Training by OVR
Once you have identified the best time to purchase Training Points, the next step is to figure out which cards are the best to target. This is where our next tool will help eliminate all the math required in calculating the optimal price to pay for each OVR card based on their Quicksell value and current sale price. This chart updates every 5 minutes to stay current with prices and market trends.
Although our database lists the players with the best training ratios, you've probably noticed by the time you search for them at their listed price, they've all been bought out. Our Cheapest Training by OVR table solves this by providing users with the best target price that is actually possible to find with a few minutes of searching the Auction House. If you are able to find cards that beat the Target Price, even better!
Daily Market Movers
The next tool we will take a look at is the Daily Top Gainers and Top Decliners list. This tool is useful to show cards making large jumps in value in a short period of time. In an effort to keep irregular transactions and low-value cards off these lists, we've removed all cards selling for under 10,000 Coins from consideration.
Typically, Daily Top Gainers will consist of lower OVR cards of newly released players. These items spike in value because players are scrambling to grab old cards required in the player with the newly released item's Power Up path. Checking this list daily against your binder will help you find the best time to sell these players at their inflated sales price, resulting in more Coins than you would normally receive.
Conversely, cards on the Daily Top Decliners list will show you items trending downwards in case you need any of them for a set or a player's Power Up. This would be a good time to look into buying them.
Quicksell or Auction Recommendation
The final tool we will be looking at today is the only one not located on the main "Prices" section with the rest. You can find this particular tool under the prices tab of all player items that can be discarded for Training Points. Simply find the player in our database, click to open their details page, select "Prices" at the top, and you will see our recommendation of whether you should Quicksell for Training or Auction for Coins.
This tool is useful because it eliminates the math required in deciding whether it's more profitable Quickselling an item for Training Points or Auctioning for Coins. The equation for determining MUT.GG's recommendation factors in the current sales price, tax after selling on the Auction House, and the Quicksell Value of the item to arrive at the optimal decision. This is a sliding scale that will allow you some leeway to decide for yourself what you would like to do because, in the end, these are just our recommendations.
We hope these tools help enhance your MUT experience and provide you with all the information you need to make the best decisions possible. Be sure to stay tuned for more site updates and features in the coming weeks. We're always looking for ways to improve and fun ideas to bring to the community!
